Well this being a fan art comp and me loving the style and story of SPAWN what better choice.
Gonna go for a Dark Ages/Viking/Barbarian SPAWN. Will follow up later on today with some inspiration and reference pics to start from.

well, all these inspirational images did their job - i'm waitin for some action :) .
go hard on this one cause it wont be easy with me here :D. i have a realy awesome concept in my head that will man handle this spawn:evil: :dance:

its a great start, keep going with sculpting the anatomy like you are. I like where this is going. Keep at it. Its looking very good.

nice start you got here :) . as for lazy'ness - slap your self cause i cant :). as for sculpt it self - its necka area and to more precise the trapezious and neck area is too high and creates this little head ilusion.

was busy all this past weekend with "baby shower" have not been able to work on anything.
been sketching a hilt for his sword (every barbarian needs a sword) sorry for the crappy pic ;)

his hooded muscle seems to be too high and if he's so strong those could be more curvy not only straight lines. and besides.. show us more!

Yeah took a plane to zbrush sculpted some folds and masked the damage/rips, then following the normal in photoshop created the alpha. Could be better, but it's a start :)

looks good :) but 1000 tris for this sword I think is a bit too much, you could save a lot more of them I think, but since the budget is really high I guess it's ok :))

i really like what you did there!
but i think you made some polys, which are unnecessary...
for example on his belt, if you would simple make the belt 3 planer high, and add the details, with ne normal map, you would have the same results. Try it, it will save you a ton of polys, which you can use elsewhere!
