Well I am a fan of Breaking Bad so started on a bust of Walter White (he has also been done before Darkmonk ;) ), the main character... just started here but will keep on working on it....probably gonna give him his yellow lab suit and gas mask on his head......if you havent seen this series...I highly recommend it :)

Never seen breaking bad but had a few people tell me its really good, might have to give it a watch sometime.

Nice choice! Haven't seen Breaking Bad, but everyone raves about it. Anyway it's always nice to see someone doing something that goes against the typical CG tropes.
Obviously the surface needs refining, but I think the likeness is coming along really well.

a Wlater White update....he still hans cancer....and cooking meth...coolest older man on television...still needs smoothing like Jusslic said but like to put base forms in first and smooth bit by bit...or as a add subdivisions...just some more work on likeness

thought I would do a quick paint over to see how he s looking with mustache..think his mustache area is to "tall" or wide however u want to think about it...as well as need to lower the mouth a little...but will check that tomorrow....see what u guys can catch that could make it look closer to him

Another quick Walter White update...getting closer I think..but still work to be done :)

looking at it now...think I have to lower the eyes a little....well tomorrows duties tomorrows duties

I already see the likeness, keep it up!

a little closer...any suggestions...something you guys might catch that I am not seeing? please leave a message and I will get back to you :)

I think it's pretty recognizable. I'm not sure there's too much more you can do until you start refining.

the resemblance is there bro! keep at it!

got started on a little detailing :)
and for ur listening enjoyment, which has nothing to do with 3d or scultping or braking bad
pay no attention to the video...dont know who did it...but he sure did waste his time :) the song is great though!!

Looking good! keep it up. :D

ok a long time overdue update....still need to refine wrinkles and add alot of skin surface detail...but think hes getting there....also gonna add the beard and hair stubs on the head with fibermesh which I havent really tried yet...soooo wish me luck :D
22-03-2012, 07:05 PM
Yup it's definitively getting there! Are you going to smooth his bald head? Because the top of the head looks a bit rugged at the moment.
Anyway keep going :)

here is a long time waiting update...textured in zbrush and rendered with bpr...the beard needs alot of work...but I am planning to do a render outside of zbrush so will work on that there instead
28-04-2012, 01:39 PM
Great work! I like the the texture. Good luck!!!

Can't wait to see the final render. Try to give the skin just a little bit more specularity
