I'll be interpreting Lenie Clarke from Peter Watts' Rifters Trilogy/Quadrilogy

These are books for those of you who remember the medium - I assume this is allowed, if not I'm going to do it anyway


I strongly advise reading the books by the way - they're frickin' awesome

dicking around with face shapes for now.

her outfit and eyes are pretty well defined in the books, she has special light sensitive contact lenses that hide her pupils, wears a wetsuit thing and has white hair (unless thats just how i imagine her). she also has a robot lung for breathing seawater that has a visible intake.

mentally she's a mess. even before the stories begin she's had a history of sexual, physical and mental abuse. during the story even more horrible **** happens so shes a lady under a lot of stress.

with that in mind i need to pick a face that shows whats going on in her head

In the first post, the first head has a more tortured look to it. The second post, the first scketch has an emo, innocent feel going on. Maybe if you could combine the two.

Maybe the shading of the first face, with the softer cheeck bones and hair of the second.
