Artists Workflow

I have been 3D modelling for a year and a half now and I'm making good progress but I feel like I am taking to long on my personal projects. I know the obvious answer is time and practice but i was just wondering if anybody has any tips on how i can speed up my workflow.

use shorcuts, plan your projects, and ofcourse more time and more practise.
