Didn't have a lot of time but still a month to go so I'm gonna try to combine these guys, probably not a lot of time this week but next week should be good.

Cool, I can see the kind of likeness there, looking forward to seeing this progress :)
This will be interesting :) I wish I knew more about Mass Effect. In Czech republic they have published the game fully translated, so I never played it. I have bad experience with those translations*.
*in one game they translated pillbox as pharmacy. In Warcraft III they changed sex of troll witch doctor. In a way the translation is correct. Male witch is warlock, so witch doctor must be female version of warlock doctor. :haha:

So I found some time to work on it, here is a start. I'll change it for a more disney look later.
Btw, I don't know why it is triangulated?
If you are using max, then the reason for triangles is you have "faceted" checked (fig. 1).
If you want the faceted look without triangles though, you can go to poly properties and uncheck subdivisions (fig.2) -and then use whatever you use for highlighting edges in render (faceted off , that goes without saying) :)

I don't have faceted checked, my model isn't smoothed. I tried unchecking Smooth Result but I still have the triangles. :S

Did some work on the rest of the head, I'll probably change the eyebrows for a more disney look.

I do like what you've got here, but yeah you've got till 11.59 Sunday 29th April.... I dunno... maybe.
