animation querry

I've managed to do this with FiewWorks:

I'm curious: does any fo u know of any app that can make this text rotate around an object (I can't afford Max & similar)?

Well most apps can do such a thing. If you can't spend lots of money, or your just a hobiest, I would suggest Blender to you.

Blender 3D (http://www.blender3d.org)

Its a free 3D modeller, about the same quality ans Max or Maya, accept its pretty hard to learn, I've been using it for a week and I can do some basic stuff in it.

And if you choose blender, you can go here to their forums and ask the pros that use it. (http://www.elysiun.com/)

I think lightwave is one of the cheaper professional programs, but still pretty expensive.

Truespace, is a pretty powerful program, it has a free demo which you can try out, and can get to as low as $199. But thats version 4, which really doesn't matter. The newest, 6.6 is $595, and I think you can get 3 for free somewhere.
