3ds max 6 with mental ray

Guess what! Discreet has released a trial version of max 6, and it's the WHOLE THING! I mean 770MB of max 6 available for download! Man I'm glad I have broadband! It is a 30-day trial version. There are no watermarks or disabled features. Everything is there. It is fully functional. I guess it stops working after 30 days, but still, I think that's long enough to decide if you want to make an investment, right? Happy downloading! :D

Man, I hope discreet purchased additional bandwidth in preparation for this release, because they're going to need it!

i just got it today - from what i know, discreet allows you to un-install and re-install max 6 3(!) times before it tells u that the trial version has run out.

that's 3 months worth of program, unlimited! very neat.

I just realized I have no clue how to use mental ray, lol. I'm glad the trial version came with all the help files and tutorials! :)

I was holding installation due to absolute lack of time. Can i wait until January then? Oh, i can breathe without Mental Ray - for the moment...
