View Full Version : Character: "The Kid"
I am new to 3D, I have been learning Cinema 4D for about 4 months now. This Character is my first 3D project. This was done in Cinema 4D and the frame was added in Photoshop

hey Adam,
first of all, the hands are wayyyyy toooo small for the body, even for a cartoon character. the face looks good.
can u post a wireframe / clay render ?

I agree with the hands comment.
Even though there's an obvious warpped style to this piece, the hands need to be 'fuller'.
Other than that it's a great piece of imagery! :D

yeah in tha actual model the hands (in my opinion) are fine.. in the first image they have come out looking small though because of camera settings and the angle of the hand.
the hair is "shave and a haircut" transformed into polygons to allow radiosity

He has a lot of personality and the colors are great. That is quite a steep learning curve for four months. I'm guessing you have some previous art training/experience?

Really nice character, I really like th style of it as well. Impressive work for only 4 months man.
I do agree though, he has a little flair of creepy in him though. Maybe he reminds me of chucky, lol.

Good job. I think the hands are good as they are, it fits the character.
