Well I followed the bonsai tree sort of thing tutorial on 3dt and it was one of the best modeling tutorials I've ever followed.

I did everything to the letter, however, and it left me with big blanks toward the last few steps. (Also consider revision, since there are a couple of spelling and gramatical mistakes that make certain sentences somewhat ambiguous). Anyhow, the Parrays are tough to get a grip on, and the tutorial doesn't explain them much. It'd be way cool if there was more discussion and expansion on them, as well as getting the 'twigs and leaves' as it were to point in correct and coordinated directions like the pic, rather than the mismashed blob of leaves pointing up that I got.

Thanx for listening,
Globator the aweful speller

hey T,

i read your post a couple of days back and tried to follow the tut myself, to see where you get stuck - i ran into the same problem and being inexperienced with emitters and the related issues i couldn't solve it either.
unfortunately i forgot to post here, so tom had to remind me.

i'm sorry i can`t help you, but i'll make a note to re-work the tutorial as well as adding to it (should i manage to solve the problem)

Best regards,

Chris
