This is the 3rd and final part of a trilogy I have done over the period of the last 1.5 years.
The first was more of a tribute to Giger.. meant to show the evil that was within us. It was a digitally painted version, and Warner Brothers actually commissioned it for a back drop on Smallville.
Version II was v.1 brought into Strata 3D to "contort" it, elaborating and exaggerating the already mangled aspects of this entity. I then monochromaticized it.
This, the final version of it, is v.2 heavily filtered and textured over the period of any months. Finally, I was happy enough with it that I considered it done.
