i did do unwarp dude... and most of what you said, i have no lcue what it means... lol

What i did was make sections
front, back, (going to do) head, arms...

So i have front and back done, so i made is that the front has one color (green) and the back is another (blue) this allows me to see what is what. So then, i did the unwrap modifier, and pressed edit (i press planner map as well, or whatever its called) and it brought up the wire frame... and i had to make it so it was facing me, which i did. So i did that, made it as big as it goes in the box (just hit full screen, and then scroll in until it fits your whole screen) and then i prnt screened it... then i went to photoshop. I made my texture there (3 layers... the exture sucks, but its good practice) and so once done, i put my texture in for the front materail, and thatswhat i got, what i see is that the foor is on the chest, the legs are close to the boots, and the belt is on the boots, it is very messed up.

So can anyone help?

Aha!!. Give it a 'UVW MAP' first. don't use a planar map. Use a 'cylindrical' since it's a humaniod type figure.U want the map to surround your mesh. Then go to 'Uv Unrap'.
