Just found out that running windows on classic mode is the fastest way to run your computer, skins make it slower =P

The post-it is from the program AVEDESk search for it on google. The newest it 1.1. It adds some cool things, and one is a post-it icon that you can double click and write notes in it for yourself. :D

I dont think you can. Thats the image I made myself from my hard drive. Its just an edited anime pic, keeping some of the original bits of the boot-up screen. For Xp the layout has to be different

PS: Theres a limit of 16 colors on boot-up screens. Its hard to make ones that look good, unless you just want to make it all shades of one color

I like my desktop to be very simple for the most part.

I do not have a fancy desktop up, but normaly I do. I am just doing a search for something new.

Most times I have a cute girl or hot cartoon chick or something like that.

I just got windowblinds and I love it, now I am going to look into getting the full version of Object Desktop 2004.

but just a little question ,

when i create a shortcut for mozilla firefox for example , im not able to have the FIREfox image on the shortcut

if you right click on your icon and go to desklet properties on the right is a pic, below it is a thing that says set image. click on that and choose your icon file. i got a firefox icon from www.wincustomize.com and it works just fine :D, i had it as an avatar too :p

To Clawda, I hope I pronouced it right, Someone asked and I replied. No I am not dumb or anything else you may presume about me. I built this system three years ago. I like my system and I think it's great, but I hear things and other's(whom ever they are), a Ultimate system could go as high as 60,000 grand easy!

And, no, I am not rich, but lets all think it out! If you're in any part of the Art world, and you model or work with subjects, your system is going to be above par, probably a reasonable video card for games and graphics, average of $1200 average in software, like Maya 5, Photoshop, Office and some other software of your liking. And if it is not, eventually it will be!

If curious, I used to work in the gaming industry, for many of the big names out there. So being that I am still a bachelor,no wife and kids, $5600 bucks, is a sneeze in the bucket when you dont have those responsibilities.

Ask around, my system is old,out of date, but it's mine,I built it, and I don't think a 5600 dollar computer is all that great!:D

The greatest system out there is priceless,...it's your MIND!

how can it be out of date? it has an EE processor (should be HT but oh well :D), a SATA hard drivs (which are brand new or so i thought) and an X800XT which only came out about 2 months ago! that aint old and neither is it bad :) although i think i may be able to find a computers total parts very similar to that costing a total of about $3-$4000 :) anyway sweet system i hope you put it to good use :D

I know it's not a lot if you don't have any bills to pay a girl to take out or whatever but see 5600$ is like EXACTLY the amount of cash I have right now so to spend it all on a computer makes no sense to me...but yeah since you have worked for big companies you probably have lots of cash but I still wouldn't say your system is outdated, it's probably up in the top for standard PC's...but hey what do I know :D
