This is my first project I did in 3ds max, Some kind of "post apocalypse" swamp catamaran extra large. (Carmicheal Whor.)

Its almost ready, but kind of heavy to work with. Will have to wait till ive finished the truck scene, maybe fun to finish in February :)

I did some experimental coloring just to get an idea:

nice, but i dont get what those turbines are for? if they are for propusion i wouldnt use that catamaran to get around :D ;)

I prefer the first pic also, though the look is a bit "dry", I will finish it later. :)

The Jetengines are the only propulsion system, they are steerable by bending the exhaust pipe. :) (I would not like to be on this boat either.)

its been a while :D

Anyway: I did an early final render yesterday, and I just wanted to share it.

Its the ship in calm water.

My end goal is to make some kind of action pic, with guns firing, and the boat in some kind of high speed pass, afterburners on. :D

also it still lacks numbers and a decent name, but I will work on that tonight.

I say more weaponry is needed. Four torpedo tubes on the outside is not very combat proficient :)))) Otherwsie the model loooks great.

Thx, I think you overlooked some guns:
Its equipped with 4 torpedo tubes, 2 miniguns, and 2 turrets on both sides with 2 50 calibers guns each.

I saw those :) I just don't believe in the outside torpedo tubes, i say put them inside the front hull and one in the aft :) I have to protect yourself from those pesky enemies who run after you...
