I'm not too sure that you should be advertising the site on this forum, not really a great idea

once you have a couple of users the word usually spreads pretty quickly... tell your friends about it and tell them to tell their friends and etc.

y can't i advertise my site. it's members site forum so i can because it's mine well mine ansd a friends. all our friends have signed up. but there friends won't.

Keep in mind not everyone will have interest in your forums. Plus there is no need to keep posting over and over...you advertised and those interested will check it out and those not won't...

nendo, to tell you the truth, there is really no point to beggin people to post on ur forum, even if it is only once and a while. You should spend you time researchin a successfull website (much like this one) to see how they get the amount of hits and posts they do. First off, if you have to ask people to post the quality of posts on your site is going to be so low that no one will want to come back and post again. Ever changin informaton is deffinly a key to get people to come back to your website again and again. Also proper advertising is deffinly a good idea. You have gotten more comments on this post regarding the fact that you are posting to much then u have about your website. So i suggest maybe trying differnt techniques.

On a more technical note: your meta tags could be made alot more diverse but still have to do with movies, include some top movies in there that u have done a review on, so when someone types in "matrix" somewhere along that list your website pops up with a review. Also i for one hate pop up windows, i can put up with them till a point but i cant stand anything to do with Gain, and im sure im not alone, so maybe lookin into a host without pop up ads would be something to look into. Top sites never ever have pop up ads, it just screams low quality. Also think about your wording "<p>Movie Site With Quite Alot of Stuff</p>" is not very proffesional and will turn off older users, or just users in general. Also, broken links are allways a no no on a site, most of your "movies that are coming out soon" links are broken sendint you to a 404 page rather then even a blank page with your template. Im not trying to be harsh i just hope you can use some of this in the future to make yourself a succesfull website

we havn't jobs yet and just bout to start colledge so we can not afford a host at the moment or some decent advertisment.
