Well, Rych your modelling skills have come on leaps and bounds over the last year or so. This model is particularly promising. I had wanted to do something similar oneday, but it's good to see someone doing it this well instead. I will stay posted. No crits yet, except, maybe the belly button could be tighter: it's a bit stretched right now. Would like to see a meshsmoothed version.

i like it because it has the curve's of my girlfriend :D, no really it's a nice model man you need to make the nippels of the boobs a bit better or maybe it's because there is no texture but than it's perfect keep doing what ya doing

Rubberduck I dont agree with you on the problems with the back area...mainly the 2 bottom circles...if you look at your back you will notice those 2 indents from your pelvis bone I belive.
geez...wish my model looked as good as this...:)
about thoes dents above the butt.....i agree with rubber duck... they don't look natural.....to me any way:D maybe a smaller less round dent
A little update and those dents are natural, they are naturaly accuring indents that are caused by the back of the ilac crest on the pelvis.

Hi Rych, just gonna pop in to say that I think her butt looks a bit too cylindrical. Round it out a bit more for realism. Very cool Concept as well, I'd like to see this one all the way through :)

looking good, just little thing, the ribs, it may just be the light that does it, but they do seem to be standing out too much, i know im not like that(may be differences between man and woman there, i dont know, but still), and im skinnyboy #1 (17.2 bmi). just thought that you should know :P
update for you guys on the body...........lots of crits welcome

i know that youve updated the model since this pic but you havnt posted any profile or fron/back pics since...so ill just use this..
The only beef i have with it is that it looks waaaay to symmetrical...i have that problem with my own model, but for some reason it just jumped out at me when i looked at yours...
the shoulder blades are identical and so are the naturaly accuring indents that are caused by the back of the ilac crest on the pelvis. and also the ribs....but other than that it looks really good :D good to see a more realistic figure for a change :)

I would say her butt is too square and the crack doesn't go that far, it has to stop and go off on opposite sides.
(Did I only realize that:cool: )
Hope this helps out a little more on the, rear end comments. I thought i had work on the roundness on them, the only thing i was worried about was the top of the butt crack, wasn't sure if it was comming off right.

nonono.. We dont ust have anything more to Coment =) It is great
hmmmm...I think some of the creases are too sharp, the biceps (if she has a bit of fat on her they wouldn't be that sharp..they should be smoother..I think:) and maybe the folds on teh knees maybe.
the side also looks a bit flat.....which is making a sharp line on the outside of teh stomach.
but apart from that its looking good

OK well here we go (althoght its rellay good)
People have been telling you to remove those 2 bumps near her bum, DO IT!
Also her butt looks kinda squre to me, add some more... roundth (is that a word) to it, ANDDDDD on the back view, looks like either her ribs are showing, or she has back fat, which is strange.. but oh well!
HE HE HE!
i don't think the bumps above her butt should be removed, but mad to look more natural.....they sorta look like scars at the moment.
the arms look a little strange, they look too big for the body imho
Jason-Lavoie
15-02-2004, 03:21 PM
He he, maybe she got poked with a stick to many times, and made indents, hey it could happen!
I agree with the indents, they need to be worked on. I will keep them but i agree then need work, and her but i will work on it has become the pain in the a@# might i say..........LOL

Honestly from the sketches the body looks to boxy. I'd like to see a skin shader on it to see if those holes are natural. i'll get a friend to pose for my proof ;). The arms look just a tad bit long for me. But then again it might be me. The curvature of the breast looks a weird in one of those pictures it might be the angle, again i'll probably get a pose.
if you can get photo reference that would be sweet, i am not asking for nudes, but some good reference................it is so hard to get a good picture with proper lighting.

hey I hope this helps a bit. The dimples are right at the edges of the sacrum as seen below( lower then where you have them). And i think they should be a little shallower so that you can just bearly see them. I looked for an example of this at length and in all examples they look like i've said. To me this is one of the hottest parts of a woman. So do it justice ! hahahaha
again, hope this helped.
cheers
Thanks J-mac that is a real help i worked on the dimples last night I just havn't had time to post, and Downup i have been using that site for awhile, just can't afford to pay for subscription. Anyway thank you all for your input I will keep trudging along.

I think your model looks absolutely great! And I donīt think the two holes in the back should be removed either... In fact, my girlfriend have two just like that, I can show pictures for proof! :D

There are some proportional problems, for example the forehead seems to be smaller (width) than the jaw which isn't right.
I assume from the consept that you're making fairly beautiful woman. ;) If this is so, her jaw should be more delicate when compared to fore head and the shape of the head should resemble more egg than ellips.
Just look at the proportions on the consept and you'll see what I meen ( I hope :p )
Lower lip is perhaps tad too full, and the angle of ear and the way it joins the rest of the head is wrong. Also there's something funny going on with the tip of the nose.
Try to get some reference pictures of womans face and you'll see the difference.
Other than those few improvements, you got yourself a good start on female head. :)

Going back to the full-body, frontal... it looks like her nipples are way too high. On a woman with breasts that big, they would be much lower... only relatively small breasts would be perky enough to have high nipples... normal growth patterns and gravity, you know. ;)
touched on all the problems you guys talked about thank you so much time for you input I hope this takes care of some of it.

Somthing very strange about the head dude... I can't explai it though, like the nose is very weird (more manly i think) and... right in the middle, where the nose goes up, that is WAY to defined, kinda looks like an alein. The eyes look to big... hmm, the ears are very strange too, look how they go stright and then curve (very top of ear) , i tihnk you need ot make them stick out just a bit more... the lips are well done :)
The forehead looks strange, but it always does, once you get hair, then ti will look fine.. good start buddy :)
Marcia

I think the biggest problems are with the nose and mouth area. The bridge and entire length of the nose are too flat across the middle, and the position of the nostrils is wrong. Also, the space between the nose and top lip curves in way too much... she would have to be missing part of her upper jaw for that to happen. And the lips stick out like a beak, instead of following the natural underlying facial structures. The skin below the lower lip puffs out too much; a lot of that area would curve inward, rather than outward.
If you get those problems fixed, she'll look a lot more natural and feminine, imo.

Just a few more suggestions, I'll concentrate of the eye area.
1) the outter corner of the eye goes back too far. Which is allowing us to see far too much of the eye from the side.
2) we can see too much of the upper eyelid. On most people, a majority of the upper eyelid is covered by the skin coming off of the eyebrow ridge. The upper eyelid kinda tucks under. Here's a ref pic to where you can see this happening...
3) you need to show a little of the area under the eye. You know, where us 3d guys get the bags under our eyes. The cheeks shouldn't look like they just run into the eye like that.
I hope this helps a little. A realistic face can be difficult to pull off, but very rewarding in the end. Keep at it, you are well on your way. Here is that ref pic I mentioned earlier.

Yo Rych!! You seem to be having probs for beauty. Have attached an image for your perusal hope it helps
I had to step away for a bit so i could just think about what i was doing, I redid alot of the head and fixed the forhead and tweaked the eyes a bit, and also included a wire for you guys. Thank you all for you help on this model i am still going with it i hope i can finish this on a positive note.

Hi Rynch,
here are my personal suggestions how to change the model.
http://www.lanfestival.de/mbportfolio/kram/rynchface13.gif
White Lines:
I think you can add an edge on the nose to bring out the nostrils.
I would add an edge to sharpen the lower lip.
And I also recommend to pull the chin a bit forward. This chin makes her look somewhat dumb (dont know if this is your intention) .
And maybe you should pull the mouth down a bit.
You have to work on the ear. It doesnt look convincing.
Forget one... the eyebrow area should be more round.
Forget the red line. Its not important.
Greets,
Marcus
Started the textures on this babe, I will be attaching her to the body soon too i just wanted to get started on the textures.
