Max tutorials for low poly characters

Ive followed the one at www.3dfoundation.com which was brilliant, but its a bit too low poly, my character is only 500 polys in total and id like a tutorial for one that was a bit more detailed, especially covering hands and feet and heads.

the ones on here are either too high poly or dont explain things well enough for my simple mind.

Any tips would be good too!

try 3dtotal's ben mathis tut.....its not much detailed...but the model has all srta abs and obliques defined....might be of help!
