Looks great so far :D
I think some edges look a bit round like in the tail lights, and in the front bumper.

Wow, that looks tough!!
Seems so real that it could be used for a commercial. You should make a simply animation of it driving off or something similar.....im sure it would be hard to tell from reality :D
woh nademmar, great model you got there.
Only 2 problems I've noticed.
1. How does the trunk open if the tail light extends past the openning?
2. The license plate area looks a little dirty (mesh-wise) because I notice some weird smoothing.

yeah it splits down the middle but they are still considered as 2 distinct objects...anyway...good modelling...need some minor tweaking tho....
btw Goj.. about the license plate area...that wierd smoothing always happen when u do a clay render (to me at least...)

1- i will cut the tail light into two parts soon:)
2- i didn't pay much attention to that area ... since it will be hidden
see the attached pic
Xullion: i like it too ... mazda did a great job producing it

Tasty modeling and renders - so much nicer than neutral grey.
Surely you are modeling the tailights and the interior;)

Hey nice....
perhaps you should try the Mazda3 or the RX8 too!!! :D
I'm going to try modeling a car myself soon. I was just wondering, how do you make those cuts along the car?
For example, how do you make the hood look like it's actually a separate component? Do you really detach those faces when you're modeling? or do you just extrude those lines inwards?

XeroType: i first model the body as one object taking in consideration the loops where i need to cut
then i detach the parts and extrude them (same number and value of extrusion for all the parts)
after that i chamfer the edges and start tweaking.
tweaking is the most important part
here is a wire if anyone is interested
