hi all, i have an annoying problem which is: some of the tutorials of 3D Total can not be saved, do not know why?, what realy happens is that it starts the saving procedure and the green bar indicating saving works till it comes to its end then a message pops up saying:
"The web page could not be saved to the selected location", any help would be appreciated .
some of the tutorials that i can not save is : painting lips, painting
eyes (both are in digital painting), also the new tutorial of Depth
of field is the same...on the otherhand if i open the native site of these tutorials then saving is possible, so the problem is saving thru 3D Total is not working with me...PLZ HELP

The problem is that the web page contains a link to a StyleSheet which resides on a different server than the one where the page is located.

After some recent security update (MS02-023 Patch or later), Internet Explorer blocks access to StyleSheet code if the code is on a different domain/server. This is why the page fails to be saved.

Instead save the type as "Web Page, HTML Only"

or just right click and save target as...

Actually it's totaly pointless anyway, all the pictures would have to be re-linked or saved on there own because they reside in their own folder.

Your pretty much damned if you do and damned if you dont...

I wouldnt suggest you unistall IE though, gona have some big security issues. You might try netscape or just load the page once and switch to ' work offline '.

The purpose of out online tutorials is of course that they are read online. Were we to offer also them as PDF's, we had so much more to do, not even to mention the increased bandwith-useage.

As of now we don't intend to make downloadable versions of the tutorials available. Of course this might change in future, but we don't plan on it.
