Well, this is my very first try at lipsync. All I used was maya5.0.1
It was done with blend shapes and bones.

Looks good but i have some suggestions....
Regarding the lipsyncing, there are times when its choppy and a bit to fast for a human to make. More specifically- The visimes when there is a crease around the mouth.....thats were its too fast.
The head motions are also a bit to fast.....theyre not bad its just if you sway them a little more rather that have it snap back I think it will make it more believable.
Still though....everything matches up well and generally it looks ok.....the few suggestions were bearly anything......Good job....I enjoyed the few seconds :)

Yeah looks good except i don’t understand why there are two heads and fusion's right about some movements going too fast. It happens towards the end of the word "waded". This looks great though. I want to see more of your animation. If you have more you should post it.

Hey thanks. I wasn't notified of any replies, so I'm sorry for not replying sooner. I will definitly post more, probably in the next week or two (that's when my demo reel has to be done). I'm just playing around with a diffuse map right now, and geez does it make it look alot more like I want it to! and the reason for the two heads is one is smooth and the other isn't. Guess it doesn't show too well :o
I've taken out some of the faster movements, and the head moves a little differently now, no fast jerk back anymore. I don't know why I kept that in the first place seeing as how I didn't think it looked too good. I'll post a new one this weekend if I'm able to get into the city tomorrow. Thanks for all the reply's and feedback! :)

little late with the update, but this one has less head movement so you can focus on the lips more. I'm thinking I need better blendshapes :)
