well it is very good overall, but there r some thing that can be better:
1. the eyes are to dark and the need more reflectivness
2.and i think the skin nedd some more modification with the shader and with the colors.
besides these to things it think this is wonderfull...
edit: Oh now i notice that the ears are a bit weird... the r too fat and i think theirs shape is not so right...

this is the image without textures and a wireframe. I did some work to the ears and when I get to the textring of the eyes I will adjust that too.

you need to work a little bit more the eyes...they look kinda flat....almost like a texture placed on a simple sphere....
anyway great job u did so far....

Everything is extremely nice, except the eyes (they need to look more alive), and the hands which seems a bit too thin.

Yep agree with profaneyour modeling loks really good but texture aren't good enough...
They're okay don't get me wrong but not as good as the model...
maybe with a bit more work on the lingthning highlight and a bit of bump iot'll be way better...
Anyway your maodel is really good !Keep us updated !

I think the textures are very good, just the eye needs to be more highlighted.
Ive been thinking...... Whats the point whit one earplug thingy? The is no point of one.. You have to have 2 of them or its unrealistic.. sry.. Really nice modeling though... The eye texture is cinda dull but nice anyways!

oh yes...the earplug thingy. Well this is a character for an upcoming PS2 game and that is one of the devices that the character wears. It will all make sence to people when the are playing as this guy. Thanks for the comps and crits folks. Im going to post more soon.

hey 71, the hand looks real nice, but i dont know if this is just the angle, but the pinky looks crazy bent out of shape in the right render where we're looking down on the palm. it looks like its being bent backwards..?
It all looks pretty dam good to me, originally i wasn't too keen on the ears but you've obviously fixed that.
What is the thing on the hat, can you shed any light ?

very nice...but its not realisti i think....the material for the cap is not good!
good textureing of the face by the way!

I have to agree with the comments on the materials. You are an excellent modeler, but your models do not look good with photos for textures. Thy have a much higher potential with computer generated shaders. I don't know if you are acquainted with 3DTotal's Texture CDs or can afford them, but they have high quality bump and diffuse maps that I think would bring the high quality of your model. Also, find some tutorials on skin shaders, sub-surface scattering in relation to skin, and the like.

thanks for all of the comments and stuff. Ive been working on it off and on for a bit and now I have finished it all up. This is not the kind of lighting that I would normaly use but for what it was used for this is what it needed.
HAD TO PULL THE IMAGE....yikes
