Hi,


Timed myself for 3 hours and this is what I came up with. I shall do the same each night untill I can make a character in 3 hours flat, hehe.

'Child Roland to the Dark Tower Came.'

Robert Browning.

This character is inspired by Stephen King's 'the Dark Tower' series of books.

The curves could be smoother.... but i also think that doing it in only three hours is a nice work ... continue practing!!!

Looks like that was done in Lightwave......was it??

You should turn the splines to polys so that you can push and play with the verts resulting an a more acurate model.

Thanx for Ur encouragement.

Yes, Ur rite, I use Lightwave. Sorry, I'm not using spline, but am using Sub Patches, & Detail out.

Hi,

Had another 3 hour session tonight. I am going faster than usual, so I think that in time I shall bring my modelling time down dramaticaly. Going to keep goint every night. :)

Hi Lightwavers,

Well, Ive been side tracked with the RHF model, but shall get back on track with this character tomorrow when the fairie is rigged. I plan to go back over my older characters each morning till they all finished, and work on new characters in the afternoon and evenings.

I should have atleast 9 characters rigged and finished at the end of it :D
