walk cycle :: question :: rept stp actn?

Hi Guys.

Sorry, i couldn't see a more appropriate thread.

Just two questions.

I've just created my first walk cycle in max. It looks a little 80s robot dance like but for a first attempt not too bad.

So, first question. Is there a way of creating a simple two step cycle and repeating the action to say, walk down a street without having to animate every single step? I'm not using CS just the basic (very basic) rig setup.

Also, can anyone point me in the direction of any online training videos geared towards animating a charater, walking etc. It's being a while since i last took a peak at buzz.com but i don't remember any there.

You could just adjust the Out of Range Types in TrackView. Then your character will continue in a straight line repeating the animation.
Or you can add the animation to a Block Controller and repeate it that way.
