Palms... need some help....

AS you can se on those palms, the opacity thing is buggy, I cant get the planes to be completly invisible, exept the actual leafs....
I have set the thing which should be completly invisible to black in photoshop... I dont know why it is like this...

And i have another question aswell. Is it possible to make planes visable on both sides, like they would get two normals??

it looks like your plane is picking up the specular higlight from your lights. Try turning off the option on your planes to receive specualr highlights. If your using Max, i think u can right click on your object and its under properties, dont quote me on that tho, hope that helps

If you want to have specularity on the leafs you can use the same transparency map you used on the opacity slot in the specular slot, use it as a mask for the specular level.

About the planes visible from both sides, just chek the 2-Sided button on the Material Editor in the Shader Basic Parameters tab.
I´m assuming you are using Max.
