Hey guys, new to the forum,
started modeling hellboy from Mike mignola's creation, so here's the head, let me know what you think I could work on.

Can you show a shaded view? It's hard to tell from the wires but it looks like you have some extra polys near the lower part of the jaw leading into the neck that don't need to be there.

Yeah, see, the polys from where the lower jaw connects and leads into the throat would suggest there is more detail than there appears to be in the actual shaded model. I'd suggest either using them for something (like his sideburns for instance) or removing the excess polys.

Here's a clearer picture of what I mean. You have a lot of polys that aren't doing anything it seems. You should try to make the most out of them or remove them. The one's circled in red should be re-thought. Ask your self if you really need all of them to define that shape. Also try to keep your model in quads to help with smoothing later on. Lastly, I don't know how much you know about edge loops and how they apply to your model's surface and ultimate usability but you may want to read up on it if you can.
The blue line should wither be moved back or moved foward to give a wrinkle in his brow, otherwise, there doesn't seem to be a need to have it there at all.
Just some observations, feel free to ignore them if it pleases you to do so. :)

The eyes are too spread appart and the shape is wrong.

What the others said. Also some face form definitions are too strong with too hard edges. Try to make it more skin like. I can see the shape of him showing through so u ARE doing something right. Just don't get discouraged.:)
