Hehe, well, posts only die when you stop updating. I know what you mean though, it's hard to keep going when no one bothers to crit. If you post too often just asking for crits, ppl will be turned off and stop reading your thread. I got this problem too, haha look how many times I've posted on my own thread.
Can you post a close up of the ears? They look really strange on the inside. I think the reason why ppl said the nose looked better short is because the character resembles a person too much. Maybe if you extended the ears just a bit and made the nose a smudge wider (although just as long as they are now) the image would be more pleasing to the eye. Post wires too, and updates. Did you use the Harry Potter elf tutorial (I think it's on Kreacher)? Looks rather like him.
Thanks for your comment, I got the insperation from the kreacher tutorial but then I modeled it on my own without following the tut. Here's a close up on the ear and wires ;)http://medlem.spray.se/thenojonr1/closeupear_perspShape_tmp.jpg http://medlem.spray.se/thenojonr1/wire1.jpg http://medlem.spray.se/thenojonr1/wire2.jpg

The ear looks really jaggedy where the ridges/edges are, maybe clean that up a bit. Otherwise I think this character is really cool...are you going to clothe him? and is the rest of him going to look human?
