I think it needs the textures to look realistic.

The legs look like they should be wider...is seems as though they would break very easily.

Well i used reference pics by Lucasarts and the
legs really are that thin....so i don't think i should
change them...

yeah i agree, the legs could use some beefing up. Also, unless I'm mistaken, I think the head is a bit too big.
heh, it's funny you should make this, because there's this map in my library and I always thought "gee, that would look great on one of those AT-ATs or AT-STs" :p In fact, it's even called "walker."

Nooo not that texture. U need to look at what an AT-AT looks like for textures. It you wantt geomptrey then prehaps a small pinch of grebble on it would bling up the detai unless u want to model all the bumps on it. This in no small walker hehe :D. As for rendering oh well all of that depends on where u want to put it. The classical Hoth enviroment like in ESB ro perhaps on Tatooine?. However its probably outside so a skylight and a hard hitting direct one is a good start. then work the mood and scenery. Nice model, keep it up!
Check out this site....www.starshipmodeler.com...
search for AT-At in the gallery section and im sure youl find more reference images than you can shake a poly at.
and alot of other cool stuff too.
:roll: :D
This should be helpfull as well....

There is a picture in the 3dtotal gallerie with an AT-at walker. Maybe yoyu can get an idea looking at it. It's on the sci-fi gallerie. I think the model looks great!!.

Thnx for the advice people.....i will keep workin on the model...
@Holo-3DT:
Thnx for the site...did find some nice stuff...
As for the pics, those are the refs i used to model.
But thnx anyway.....
@T0XIC:
Thnx for the texture, i will try it on the model tomorrow and
post a pic here, so you guys can c if it looks good.
About the legs, maybe is should beef them up,
i'll try it and post an update tomorrow.
Altought the ref pics do have the same small legs.
But thnx for the advice.
@Emperor:
I'm not sure wether it's going to be tatooine or hoth....
I was thinking of hoth but Tatooine got better surrounding
to make nice models of. But i will make an AT-ST to go along
with the AT-AT to make it look like a true imperial invasion.
About the texture, any idea how i should make my own texture
cos i'm a complete n00b at textures.
Thnx for the C&C people, really appreciate it!
