Hello every buddy :D ! It's my first post (in or on) this forum, but I come to see what peoples are doing every day. Sorry, my english is so bad cause it's been a long time that i have written a message in this language. I'm a french canadien ... I hope it's doesn't cause problem to someone. :o
Bon! I made this face with maya 5 starting with nurbs and converted in poly after.
9 hours of work
1124 poly in low res
4442 poly in high res
I think i will have a problem with uv cause i convert nurbs to poly so if someone can explain me how to reset uv I will apreciat. If u want more info just ask.

Hey there, and welcome to threedy!
Nice and clean modelling. Have nothing to say about the model xcept its great! Bout the uv's I can't help...not into maya hehe. Keep it coming!:)

Looks like he has a tomer (i have NO LCUE how to spell that) in his head.. its ok dude... the eys/pupels are to big... hmm... nose seems weird to me, the forhead isn't suppose to stick out more than the nsoe is... but it is clean.

Hey :D look at these 28 beautiful teeth.
Just a little update cause i have a mazda3 to do in illustrator for monday. If u all want i will put it on this post want it will be finished.
Next step... uv and textures.
-Jason: I try to be a surgeon and remove this tumour. I also put the pupels smaller. Try to change the nose but finally let it like that.

I have finally resolve my problem of mapping, Sorry if i did a new thread, but i didn't know what new thread mean :D so i tired it. mapping problem post (http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=16850)
Diego : :) i put the chin a little bit bigger. How do u find it now ?
I have begun and finish the unwrap part, I think ... It's my third face that i tried to texture. I really need comments. If u want other screen shot for ur comment just ask :cool:

First off...welcome to threedy....
as i can see...the head has been modelled well...i like it....but if u compare it to the sketch....the lower part of the head in the sketches is bigger than the upper....but the model is the opposite...thats my only critique if u are case sensitive with the sketch.......but ur modelling is good!

Ok guys, I have had the time texture my project :D, as I have said before it's my third time and i need your comment to continu. The worst thing will be the rendering with mental ray, but I have seen a nice tut on 3dtotal;)
I will try some blendshape and setup the head. The rest of the body will follow while the next weak if i have the time

Pls don't use my texture for ur work... try to creat ur own like i did...
