hi to all...
this is a personal project based on Japanese anime "Grendizer" (Goldrake)...
the Grendizer, or Goldrake, and the Vega's moon base have been modeled by Piko, while the Vega's mothership has been modeled by me...
Coming soon: mine disk - Actarus (Duke Fleed) the pilot of grendizer - one monster from first episode
C&C are welcome...

reminds me of those cartoons i loved watching when i was a kid, where the guy sits in this robot and operates em :D ( dont really remember the name)

very nice texturing and modeling work so far....would love to see some dents to complement the wear/tear and scratches that you have already added through your textures and some pronounced contrast in the metal texture as well.

Where´d you get your hands on that Grendizer model? It bears a striking resemblance to the one used by the GT group who are still working on a Grendizer movie with real actors: http://www.gtgroup.info/index.htm

All looks good, just wondering one thing, the Purple looking space ship, the mapped holes look abit stretched? Dunno, but great textueing, and I like the simple box looking mesh textures really make it look good, nice work..

I love those evil horns and spikes.. My older brother had one of these toys when I was little, I wanted it so bad, the fists shot off if I remember right, and the toy was pretty big.

then Later I got the huge Voltron (cats) toy, was allot of fun in the old days,, LMAO,, am I old now,, yeah yeah gray hair sprouting.. uggg

in my opinion,the larger robot must have more detail since its supposed to be that big as compared to the smaller one.right now they have almost the same structural detail which makes the bigger one look basic.might want to keep that in mind ^____^ :D

I have to agree with jawahar, you should add in some more detail, the model looks good, but there is not much to look at. Also you should texture him!!! Like you did with the Grendizer, you know the dirt marks... Now he looks to clean..
