hey guys havent posted in a while.... ive been kinda rushing for the end of a dead line. well this is a scene that i made in like 1 hr that somehow turned out realy cool looking... for the movie the robot is supposed to dramaticly rise up on a elevator

I don't get it, I found this thread at second page, how come people don't give comments to pics that actually look good? second time I see this today, another one was a motorcycle that looked really nice...remember to give crits to people who are skilled to, not only to those who need help (read: model cars...)

anyway, I love the atmosphere, reminds me of resident evil, don't know why, like it a lot

thanks ya i know what is with threedy nowadays. oh well. im glad you like the scene. it is actualy getting edited into the movie as we speek hopefully we'll post a verson of the finished producted when its done. the scene renderd realy nice


the elevator brings it up then theres a few dramatic cameras then it finishes when one angle shows the lights turning on

neways, the 1st scene looks amazing!
and the second shot is also cool!

the texturing, modeling and the composition altogather
rocks...

i love the dramatic light mood you have set to the
second image... small crtic. it would be nice if
those headlights were lit. :)

Yea I noticed that about the threedy. People seem to not crit on some good looking renders.

I like what you did with the lights. Especially the use of the volume lights, and the over all scene. Its got that eerie feel to it.

I think thats great when a picture gives you that sense of feeling.

im realy glad you guys like the scenes soo much... and yea the lights get i little brighter to look more like there on... or so i think. anyway the shot kicks **edit(butt)** in thee final version

for a joke when the robot gets described i made treads and blinging wheels for it... you'd prolly have to watch the movie to get the joke but heres the renders anywhooo. its in a void cuz we didnt wanna make a scene

texturing on the first pic, remember he scale. the textures for the metal struts are v.low rez and streched out it makes it seem to be a scale model or something.

else nice modeling. but your texuturing contrasts each other too much . a bright clean blue against a drity rusty metal.
also it looks to preset textures. nothing hand painted . or made.

the movie looks asome i saw the finished product today. my friend editied all night but he got it done... we passed it in for the compition at a local univeristy.
its definatly sweet looking. he even put sound effects into this scene so it was just... man i want to post it up for you guys to see
heres a version of the cover.. its kind of a cruddy name but it wasnt realy up to us.

well technicaly a friend of mine could do that but he is a selfish guy and prolly wont let us bog down his server... im gonna try and find a place where i can upload it... if ya know any sites in existance that would let me put my movie there please tell me.
