Call Of Duty: Vimy Ridge (would you like to help?)

Hey all, this is open to all I guess (small team of 5 would be nice) just a side project for me.

Anyways yeah, I have been learning about WW1 in History and i was inspired to make a map of Vimy Ridge because to me, that was the birth of Canada right there, and I just wanted to... I don't know, do my part i guess... it's small, but I really would like to make a replica of Vimy Ridge in Call Of Duty, and hey, if anyone is up to it, we can make some new Textures for the soliders and what not to become Canadian... doesn't matter.

So if anyone would like to help, i would really appreciate it, i have the mapping software, so if you need it ask, or you can go to: Call Of Duty Map Maker (http://www.activision.com/microsite/cod_sweeps/maptool_download.zip)

Only thing that is a must is that you have Call Of Duty (if not, and your really interested, then you can join) and that you have some map making experience... thank you

I have COD, and I've been doing a little low poly modelling to mod BF: Vietnam, so i could model guns, or anything i guess, not people tho

Thats cool dude, i was relaly thinking of just modeling the map first, BUT... i may grow into a mod.. i really wouldn't mind that at all... like a WW1 (although COD is based in ww2) Canadian mod... i would really like that.


SO yeah, right now i am focused on the map... but after I do this I will tell you if I wnat to make a mod or not, cause you will be on the team... ha ha (if you want that is)

Aight, do u want to give me some ideas for weapons or skins i could work on until u finish the map? I know you don't know if u want to do the full scale thing, i mean just to see if what it will look like

ne rifle I would really like to see in the game is the Ross Rifle, i know the rifle SUCKED... but its still Canadian (mna that one hurt... but i really liked how they made a rifle... but it was a scandel)

Cool dude, this thread has been dead for a bit, but i will add you.... (right now the main project i am in has gotten a big boost)

If anyone remembers the Divided, its still going on, a LOT stronger then ever... getting some pro's to come and help, or veterans i guess you could say, very exciting.

lol.. i have this bad part of me that starts mods and don't finish them... sry man this has been dead for awhile, didn't even start... lol
