update: still trying to figure out how to detach and extrude and keep the sharp corners after meshsmooth....
works on lighting a bit...

update: coming along pretty good for my first project.
so far this is what i have... I learned that it saves a lot of time when editing to split my car up into different parts... still can't figure out how you guys get such clean cuts
*note to self: next time, start with a simple car

if you wanted to keep the "sharp" edges, wouldnt you juct chamfer them?

I guess i would set my chamfer lower... cuz if i don't chamfer meshsmooth will smooth it out even more
