ive made a few models so far trying to figure out max and after three months of moving vertices i have the courage to post something. this is my character ooger. day 1

no offense, but to be blunt, that concept art is dreadful. your max skills seem much better than your drawing skills (except for the nose). i recommend using other people's concept art. in your model the eyes are done especially well and i also like the skin texture.

yeah i know i cant draw but i can sit in front of my puter for days at a time only to eat and take my kid to school. sleeping is optional. i added legs feet ears and ****** covering. here is end of day 3 (yesterday)

i fixed the hands a little but they still dont look right.

looks very nice, but you should use a lighter background and some lights to make your scene brighter. :)
it ist too dark but i think it would look better.
