I know alot of ppl will say Opera.. But it cost money if u dont want a BIG fu"#Īng banner in the top..
I would say FireFox
1. Goes Okey
2. Dont use alot cpu,ram
3. Stop all Popups
4. U dont need 1milion icon on the startfield . If u press On the middle button on your mouse on a link will it ust be a new "Flik?" In the top..

Firefox dude, integrated pop up blocker, and it's faster than IEX. FIREFOX!!!

Firefox all the way!
+++
+ IE-like UI. No need to learn everything new
+ pop-up-blocker that works! (panic ware's popustopper just blocks everything, even stuff you don't want to be blocked, like the galleries ion 3dtotal.com)
+ themes (plenty of them!)
+ tabbed-browsing
+ handy bookmark-managment and import of IE bookmarks
+ faster surfing
+ customisable toolbar!
---
- sounds doesn't always work, depening on how it was implemented in the code
- loads slower than IE

wow, all firefox users here oO
me I prefer opera, I just love the look&feel of that browser. its got:
- mouse gestures (cool stuff really)
- multi-tab browsing (no 1000k windows like in IE - I spose firefox got that one too tho)
- good popup-block: only when requested shows the popups you actually want to see (like when a site opens in a java-window etc)
- good compatibility
- download-manager window, quite handy
- easy zoom function
- other cool features
thats about it, to try it, go www.opera.com
have fun :)

mouse gestures work in firefox too, if you install a plugin, btw ;)
can't get used to it though, i think...too weird for me

The thing I like about firefox is that you start out with a basic browser. You can then add plugins to support features you need.
Nice to have something that isnt bloatware...
mozilla is the best , its very useful and light , on the contrary Netscape is not user friendly
Tryed!
Itīs faster and group the new windows in the main one. Download admin and more.
Dislike:
Slower windown movement.
Unsorted and imported bookmarks.
Different Cookies.
And different code interpretation in forums that makes somethings like that:

I have both Internet Explorer on my Windows PC and on my G4 Macintosh at my work, however I recieve lesser banners on the Macintosh IE then on the PC version.
A couple of friends of my uses Opera, that's a fine Internet browser (also less banners).

I'm using opera, I found out that somethimes when you EMAIL a file from a mac to a pc, and the filename contains certain hyphenations (ie. ' ī`) the filename corrupts when you download it on a pc with IE.
Opera has no problem with this.
Small problem, and very weird!!
sorry to say this guys but opera SUX
sure you dont get the spyware, cauze its written for only IE (for now at least) but lots of web pages will have problems, and good luck with a new .net page ;)
EVERY ONE SHOULD BE USING FIREFOX!
it is the only one out there that can even come close to IE...
now IE is a good, well not good, the best browser, why you ask, because 99.9% of the internet is writen for IE and only IE, so why does IE have so many problems, and back doors found in it... well its like this, how come the top cars stolden are most likely the top cars sold, easy there are more of them, so more crooks know how to break in to them.... same thing with IE, 80% of the world is using it, so all of the hackers want to attack it so there little programs affect the most posable people.
as more people start to use other browsers more people will start to find there holes and back doors... and I bet you that they will have way more problems than IE...

USED: whoa, don't shoot me for using opera! To be true I never even heard about firefox before I read this thread.
Hold your horses, man!
Are U holding some kind of a grudge against opera or what?

???
This is so wrong!
99.9% of the internet is written for IE because that's the browser that comes with your PC FOR FREE!
How many home users actually bother to check out an other browser?

I use Opera, and never have problems with it :P Never even heard about FireFox.
99$ of the pages are made for IE because some of the designers don't bother to check their pages with another non-built-in browser. Also, IE has a very loose system for it's HTML parsing, while Opera and the other browsers out there(like Mozilla, Netscape e.t.c) are more strict to the standarts.
