if human or not you made a lot of design and anatomical muistakes on him, keep in Mind a good Creaturedesign is a working one, if you want it to look real copy the "designs" od nature as all of us know... you'll need a lot of knowledge to design something new and believable as long as you don't have this knowledge learn from what is around you, it will help you on designing new creatures :)

Neox - I agree with you on the most part.

copy the "designs" od nature as all of us know...

good advice, i'll definately keep this in mind.

Do you think you could give some examples of where you think i went wrong. It'd be much appreciated.

Thanx for the reply ^_^

theoverall anatomy won't work, his jaw is pretty much deformed he won't be able to open his mouth, the sternomastoid is wrong, so he won't be able to turn his head...
basicly all those are problems you can fix when looking at a human skull and some musclepictures... nothing that crticial... but basic knowledge you'll need sooner or later

i havent tweeked his jaw yet, but, i do realize even if i did, I would have to revamp a major portion of the jaw in order for it to "work" as you think it should..

As i said its not human. so therefore wouldnt have a human skull or even skeletal/muscular structure. i realize every mammal on earth has similarities in certain parts of their skeletal structure, but again, its not from earth.

Will it end up working? i have no idea. Ill probably end up changing a whole lot in the neck and cheek area.

I should have figured out exactly what i wanted the skull/jaw skeletal structure to look like beforehand, i had a vague idea about it, but didnt plan it out exactly.

As for the sternomastoid tho, i'm guessing your deffinately right about the fact that he wouldnt be able to move his head.. i just extruded the neck out and left it. ^_-

Thanx for the replies tho. very constructive ^-^

I think maybe if he is not supposed to be of this world, maybe he shouldn't look like creatures from this world. If you realy want him to look like us than he needs to have a physiology that is more like ours.
And not only do all mamals have "similar" skeletal and muscle systems, we all have the same systems, every mamal has pectoralis major, or radial bracialis, so study anatomy more carefully.

Very good point.

Although i said skeletal structure.. meaning the shape of the bones, not the bones themselves.

At any rate i think your right, it looks too human for what im talking about. besides that, it's poorly modeled. 1st time tryin something like this. Thanks, guys, for the comments.

the more i look at it the more i can see what yall are saying.

Thanks again.
