It was created using a pencil and some cold pressed illustration board.

You think I should leave it as is??
I really wanted to finish the hand drawing the image.

I like the "contradictory metaphoric message". There are a hand drawing with a pencil a fashion model taken by a photo ref.
I mean, that draw doesn´t came from the hand that are drawing it.

Out of the subjetive thing, the left arm has a plain shadow that doesn´t work very well. Keep the hand and the chick in different technics of shading to obtain the impression of different worlds in the same pic.

just pencil? did you work it over in photoshop?
if not how did you get that pure black?
was this drawn from a referance image?
I think you should leave it as it.. I like i that way, dont finish the hand it looks good as just a hint of a hand...

The pure blacks were acheived with an 8b pencil.
It's sorta hard t tell from the scan resolution but they are indeed drawn in diferent styles (the hand and the chick). She is done with three tones, the hand is much more realistic.
