i'm not realy going for detail. just going for shape. but after i'v done the basic shape i might texture it and add more detail. if i can ofcourse

well i used a couple of picture of the trex to get the shape and stuff

dude i know what ur doing
cause i did the same thing.
now go get some reference pics for ur dino other than just the body size
what u need is muscle reference to give it that real look to it instead of the bubbly look ur goign with, its too smooth right now

uh i will find my post and give u the link for it see if that helps

http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=15834&perpage=15&pagenumber=1

ok so hope that helps and good luck
u are in the going in the right direction so keep it up

When u make a wireshot

Do like this if u use max

Sett the smooth to 0 and press F3 or F4 i think and then print screen.. Becouse the Wire u have showed is not easy to follow :D

Keep going

hey nendo its d0Cd from Jurassic Rage, its looking good but you have quiite alot of proportional issues. The thighs need to be far muscular and not so long, tail needs to be longer and not so thick, the heads needs to be dragged down and to the right slightly so that the neck is a bit thicker because at the moment the neck looks like its been smashed apart, the back looks arched it needs to be smoother. The head is seriously nothing like a T-rex head, if you were going for a Allosaurus look I would say it was very good but its not, its Trex, I've attatched my high poly T-rex head (current WIP) for some reference for you I feel it is pretty close to what the Trex should be. If I could I would also attatch the Jurassic Rage T-Rex concept art, but obviously Im not allowed and would get a kick up the ass from hugo :P.

u have certainly done a lot better than ur start...bit organic modelling is not easy...u still need to add a lot of detail.....

going good anyway!....
