I'm back! If anybody remembers me  Anyways I posted this a few months ago, but I did a lot of work on it, and it looks much better. Going for a very old, WWII photograph type look.

Nappa your missing the whole point of the picture. The fallen angel is the medic. When I see the picture. It tells me that the medic has been killed.
You can consider the medic as the fallen angel, one who saves the lives of dieing and wounded soldiers.
In fact I saw a really cool figurine once. I think it would be an awsome 3d model if someone wanted to tackle it. Hell I might even try and model it.
But the figurine was of a WW2 Medic all battle worn and ******, trying to attend to his dieing fellow soldier but at the same time he was shoving the Grim Reapers hand away. Screaming"NOT YET!"
That was a pretty poweful piece of artwork I have to admit.
As for this picture. I like it its pretty cool. Its a poweful piece of art.
Its very simplistic but gets the message across.
Good Job

Was that chain penetrating the cap mesh?

Thanks all for the comments! I'll try to improve it some. No, the chain isn't penetrating the helmet mesh, but it certainly does look that way. The lighting does it I think. I've got some color renders and you can clearly see the whole chain. I never noticed it looked that way though, glad you caught that!
Cyrenn: You got it EXACTLY. This is my first real "art" piece, that I was trying to say something with. I'm glad I communicated with somebody. Yes, the medic is the fallen angel, who died trying to save others. Every soldier is a hero, but I thought the medics deserved a piece of art. Thanks for illuminating my piece to others, cyrenn!
