I like the paintjob and my modelling but my shadows are not so good. Can anybody tell me how I get nice shadows??

Here is a wireframe for the ones who like that :P

if you post your settings as well as application it will be easier to help. But in the meanwhile look for settings such as rays or samples ...maybe I don't know for sure

Very nice model, Mark. And a clean mesh, too.

As for the shadows: I use brazil sometimes and never get ugly patchy shadows like that. It may be because you have a blueprint on top of the brazil ground plane. Try rendering without the blueprint planes and you should get nice fuzzy, delicious shadows... shadows have taste.

Unless you want shadows which actually look like a shadow of the car. Then you should be something like a spotlight or omni in.

I guess its just a matter of prefference. I, personally, think those shadows look great. Did you change the paint a little? I like it better this way.

If you're using brazil what fixes the shadows is in the Luma Server part and its called like viewrate or something. The value should be set at 15 default. I change mine to 30 and it usually comes out fine :) Awesome looking model, thats a sweet car too, nothing to crit form me :)

A new render here. I did some chrome around the window and didn't make the tire look like plastic...but I don't like the tire material. Can anybody help with that...I'm just not good in materials :o

After nearly 3 years I pulled my good old 62' Ferrari back out of the shed again. Got some spare time so it is time to finish this beauty.

Looks good. A few bits need a bit of TLC though.
Do you realise these can fetch up to £20 million at auction?!?!?!

What do you mean with TLC.. I now they made musicrecords?? But what is it in 3dsmax.

Done the exhaust as well. Not very pleased about it
