in my school, there's this guy, a computer technician dude, who i talk to sometimes when i see and sometimes conversations get interesting. today, he told me he was thinking about setting up a game coding club during lunchtimes or after school. i think this is really cool! but what im not too keen on is the little year seven (11yrs old) wannabes who are gonna turn up and think its easy as clicking a few buttons. what do you guys think?

Ah programming clubs at school, what fond memories... Although I'm still in school. Anyway, the programming club at my school consists of a bunch of Year sevens who seem to be a little too crazy about Visual Basic and aren't really focused as a group.

Programming clubs are a great idea for exchanging knowledge and skills if done right but I'm afraid that where I go to school they alone stare at their own project to create a whole text-based game along the Harry Potter story without any collaboration.

Plus they stop us using the computers for important things like printing offf our coursework.

*Ends rant* Enjoy your programming club but beware of the first year bearing Magic cards, he is the servant of the Devil.
