Does 3DMAX run under Mac OS?

What do you think about MAC? My bro will buy an iBook, but I think they are nice boxes (:D) but with poor performance

yeah max does run on osX but why... dear god WHY...LOL
yeah macs look pretty but they really dont crunch # like a PC does.. and when your paying almost 2x as much as a PC WHY!!!!!!!
just have him buy a dell laptop and spray paint it white or sliver :D
