I've started animating a movie with my knight and dragon characters. Here is a clip of what i had so far, it took 15 hours to render. I didn't even notice the hand going through his head at the end though, It didnt do that in my lower quality render. The dragon comes next.

The clip is here(if somone knows a good place to host this or would host it themselves that would be great):

and a mirror for when that runs out of bandwidth:

Looks good in general, althought the walking looks weird. The animatin in the end is great, when he´s staring at the sun.:D good work!

When he walks, it's like he's floating over the ground. ;)

yeah, the problem with the walk is that there is no contact, you need to get some more vertical movement so that the legs bend at the knee more and you need to define the "contact" frame alot more, there needs to be more movement of the torso too, far to stiff... other than that its looking alright, keep up the good work! :)

not too bad...

As the others mentioned, the walking is odd...he seems to slide a bit...and after he looks at the sun, the camera does some wierd bouncing up and down, like it's dancing or something...

I really like it. A few crits though, the camera movement is a major drawback to your animation. It appears that the camera is somehow "targeting" your knight which causes the jerkiness. Try and key it manually to give it a smoother feel or chop it up to direct the viewer using a locked down camera with cuts.

Also one thing that you may want to add for realism is that a person blinks almost every time they turn there head to look in a new direction or sometimes when they just move their eyes. Try paying attention to when you blink and it will seem kinda wierd when you realize it ;) You kinda have to conciously try not to blink. all in all I would say more blinking for more realism maybe add some squinting when he looks at the sunset.

Walk animation looks good , just add some contact motion. Just my opinion, hope to see more.

Thanks for all the comments! The thing with the shaking camera at the end was that I was trying to make it look like the ground was shaking. In the next part of the movie the dragon comes, so the ground is shaking for its entrance, any advice to get a better effect for this?
