Ya, It is messed up but not to bad. I have a bad taste in my mouth from Bowling still. Things like showing hestons speach and saying that was 2 days after Colibine. The speak was actually from a year and a half later in another location. He did a great "Blare Witch Project" media snafu with that one and I am sure he did a good propaganda film here too. I have not seen this one but after researching the last one I felt pretty stupid and used. Michael Moore is a pompas hipocratic ass.

Although I havent looked into it too deeply myself I would assume some major news sources would expose it if it was actually a totally different speech. From what I have read it seems as if he edited the speech somewhat but it was the speech from that day.
Here is Moore's response to the claims made about Bowling for Colombine.
Moore's Response (http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/wackoattacko/)
I'm going to look into it some more later on because i do want to keep an open mind on the subject.
However he definately is right about this administration being shifty.
Heres a pretty entertaining example of this. It's got alot of jokes in it but it certainly does prove a point about bush.

I just read through moore´s response, and I think this man DOES have the ability to back his statements with solid facts. in fact, he manages to prove everything via a lot of sources etc.
I do believe his words, and am looking forward to fahrenheit 9/11 :)

First you have to read what others have discovered. Then read his response and as always he is good at skipping around the piont and answer nothing. He is great at it. It is a good media piece. Keap this in mind though
Think of it this way. He is the one that stated we are more apt to kill someone with a handgun here in the US because of fear spread by the media. Well it is his type of media that spreads that fear. People get attracted to his media type because they love to see the "GOING DOWN IN FLAMES" type reporting. Trajady sells. That is why Movies like Gladiator and Braveheart get movie of the year. He packages his movies well and sell what people want to buy. If you walk away intertained then you got your moneys worth. If you want away believing it, well then I feel sorry for ya.
People believed the Blare Witch project because of the media and great misleading facts that people never questioned. Now that is proven to be a falsehood. People now believe that John Edwards talks to the dead, again if you want to believe someone you will. Funny thing is people who know he I am talking about probably say that he is real, they saw it on TV, haha. SCI-FI broght you Blare Witch documentary and now they bring you Crossing Over with john Edwards. Cross check everything and then you will know. Michael moore is a Briliant Propaganda director. He is brilient because people will believe it becasue he said so on his SITE. See click here, click here. I am not going to give you a link because I would like you to look into it yourself. Yes the Bush admin is slippery but the Kelly is worse so we have no one to vote for that is worth a damb.
Is his new movie true? Maybe, Is it Propaganda? Maybe. I have not seen it and I do not know. I just know from his last movies.
Chewfunka, they have exposed it and it is true. It was the part about Taking the gun from my cold dead hand. Order the transcripts. I did. Here is the kicker. Moore never lied. He never said that was the speech from that day. He just said that Heston gave a speech and then showed you that one. You were the one that screwed up making the jump that they were the same speach. That is the way Moore works. He is good.

Haha, He has the transcripts on his page. Do a search on it for cold dead hand or hand or anything.
His page (http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/wackoattacko/heston.php)
There are a lot of other things too. Do not skim it. You will miss his smoke and mirror. You will probably dismiss this as insignificant but it is not.
Reading the bottom line was the truth.

Sources? A paper from a high school freshman is not even acceptable without sources. There are many accepted ways that sources can be listed, there can be a works cited or reference page, or even a date on the newspaper articles! There are vague spans of years, and there is nothing definite. I don't think that this is sidestepping around any critiques or exposing of his work. This isn't in response to anything. It's just more of his writing. It is emotionally charged (that is considered illicit in any logic argument or any debate), and it doesn't say anything.
I don't feel sorry for those who believe this stuff. There are consequences for it; like making irrational choices just because they "saw something on the Internet." I will deal with it myself in my own ways. Good refutation Rick.

I totally agree Rick, he plays with people's feelings. I myself wasn't a fan of bowling, and will most assuredly not be of this piece as well.

RickStefani-
Kerry is worse than Bush? How? Some
explanation or sources would really help you on selling that one.
Also you completely contradicted your own arguement by saying "Moore never lied ... You were the one that screwed up making the jump that they were the same speach."
So why do you think "Michael Moore is a pompas hipocratic ass"?
