i just watched this movie recently, and i really liked it.

Yeah it's one of my favorite movies. I've seen it countless times. Kitano is an awesome actor =)
Don't see BR2 unless you are prepared to be somewhat let down though. Without spoiling too much.

BR2 was a bit daft imho :p the first film was by far superior :)
any film with Beat Takeshi Kitano is good in my book (apart from Johnny Nuemonic/Moronic)

On the subject....has anyone seen "Sonatine"??? I watched it about 5 years ago and it has to be THE best Kitano film! If you like his stuff....go rent a copy :D
