Hi everybody,
For character animations, I used Poser 4 to get my favourite animations done. There, i know the system, how the parameter dials works and son on, that means I can do astonishing character animations.
Now I am building a bart simpson figure i want to animate later, I first have to go to the bone system tutorial inside 3dmax, but that wont be so hard.
But I have still some questions in mind:
1) In Poser there is an option "Use Limits" that limits the amount of bending, twisting, siding, (e.g. you can twist your head only to max 35°, not more).
Does 3dmax or its bones system or character studio have such a limit option?
2) In Poser you can save poses from a certain frame or a whole range of frames with animation within it. Let's say we have a karate kick animation and i want to apply it so another figure, but i dont want to animate the 2nd figure from beginning (again), i just want to apply this "karate kick" preset.
Can i save animation poses with 3dmax or its bones system or character studio?[/
3) In Poser, there are several functions, that play with the symmetry of an character, in example, you have certain pose of your left are and you want to apply the same pose values to the right armor if you want to swap the arm values, that means the left arm gets the pose values of the right arm and the right arm these of the left arm, you can choose the right symmetry option.
Does 3dmax or its bones system or character studio?
I'd be thankful for everyone who can give answers. Thanks!
martinpehave such an option?
