Hi guys
Ok, I've been asked to make a 5 floor apartment into 3D, and making it the "boobies" of an image, and animation, just a few tips I need on how I can do this.
The Image below is a quick working out of the model, this isn't the actual model (I'm making it from scrach again). I need to know:
As I'm copying and pasting (bascily) the apartment floors up in to 5 floors, should each floor be a seperate Xref file? (Would this have a huge impact in rendering?
Secondly, What kind of lighting should I use? Its a project with alot of polgons involved, I also want to animate a walkthough, so whats the best effective lighing I can use which is realistic but at the same time rendering time efficent. ?!?!?!
Oh And I was thinking of making the Glass like this > Reflective maps > Raytrace. Refracting Maps > 98 RayTrace, I know this makes nice glass efffect, but would it be wise in this situation, If anyone knows a better way please tell me (I'm trying to get this final Render as nice as possible).
Is it ok to use the standard 3DMAX6 plants, or is there a better way to get realistic plantation, I won't have time to make my own.
Well I'd love to see what you guys think, and remember the image below aint the final, its a pre-production thingy (starting again in scratch mode) :-P Thanks!
