Yeah sounds like an IE setting problem.
To correct do this:
got to Tools-->Options
delete all cookies and Files
Then go to the security tab, set all zones to the default level
then go to the advanced tab and restore defaults.
Close the IE window and open a fresh one, try the menus again.

if this doesnt do the trick let me know, I have a few more things that we can try.

if you want to save yourself all that trouble, just download firefox, it's a faster browser and you won't have the problems with it. You shouldn't anyways.

very small download as well, just 4 megs

i hope i'm not too late in posting this....

til recently i had the same problems with the pop up menus at the top of 3dTotal. also now of the adverts at the side of the page would load either. this was happening in IE, firefox, and netscape.

the problem wasn't 3dTotal tho....it was Norton Internet Security (and i expect other brands on Net Security would do the same). Basically it was blocking the code that makes a lot of the content work.

To fix the problem, I opened up Nort.Net.Security, went into the "privacy control" menu and clicked "configure" on the right. a new window opened up and i clicked "advanced" at the bottom of the page. Then into another window. clicked the "add site" button at the bottom of the page....and added the 3dtotal url. then with 3dtotal selected....go through the "global settings", "user settings" and make sure everything is set to "permit". Then go into "ad blocking", click the "add" button at the bottom, and add the strings "/ad", "/banners" to the list (making sure you select "permit" again.

If that still doesnt work, click "add site" again and add the url " 67.15.36.49" and repeat all the rest :)

then hopefully you can enjoy 3dtotal the way it's meant to be enjoyed :)

hope this helps. if things STILL dont work, open Net Security again and go into the "statistics" sections, click "view logs", and see whats being blocked in the "content blocking" and "privacy" sections.
