her legs and her arms are kinda blocky. You might wanna fix that =/

make sure you keep her center aligned. turn on gridsnaping (X) and select all the CV's and drag them to the center.
For any poly modeling i suggest you get MJ PolyTools
1.3 is the version i use it adds lifesaving features, like looping and edging and connect features (standard in max).
Set up better lighting. Change your renderer to mental ray. Set up an omni light set the intensity to about half or little lower. then go turn on final gather. turn the photons down to about 400 - 500, so it won't kill your rendering.
good luck.

Does MJpoly tools 1.3 work for maya 6?

Only strange things I notice are the hands. The palms jut out instead of the knuckles. Other than that, I have to say you're doing a very good job.

I think, the head is to flat on the top and the back of the skull is to high. I drew a few lines to show you what I mean.
Also, the neck is to thin and the yaw should flow smoother into the neck.
The frontview: The face looks a bit flat, maybe you should emphasize the bones below the eyes (don't know how to say in English), make them sharper.
The lips don't look right either, they should flow into the face. They look as if they are glued on top of the face.
The shin is to short and the arms look a little to maskulin.
