Great stuff ! big thumbs up.. I especially like the texturing, excellent job on that! The thing you'd want to work on next is his expression imho, cuz right now it looks a bit odd, when he's slashing with such a static face :D

...But you probably thought of that yourself already ;)

keep up the good work! looking forward to seeing more.

very nice indeed.
the only thing on run cyckle i notice was that it feels like the legs arent totally straight b4 they hit the gound.
if u have the legs straight may i suggest u try haveing 2frames totally straighten out.
its very common in 3D to see those bent leg all the time.
other then that little thing it looks great.
looking forward to see more animations.

Great rendering and models. Looks very nice. Speed seems good. I would have him bending over a bit more on the run though. You tend to stand upright on a walk but a run you lean forward more. A run is a controlled fall.

Thanks for the good crits, RickStefani, Blunder and slaQ.
Yup slaQ, I have that planned out more for the future animations when I also concentrate on his facial stuff. But thanks for pointing it out :D

Concerning RickStefani and Blunder, thanks for the advice. I will definately look into that and eventually make those changes ;)

Sweet.

okay i just want to say that I LOVE him. He is awesome. As for the run cycle, it looks very good to me except that he is not bent at the top enough (i think was mentioned before) and the sword slash needs to come down further, and not end so quickly. Perhaps you could slow the end part down a little?
:D

Hello!
great work!!
let me make you an invitation:
My name is mauro and I'm on the last year of computer engineering. I'm working on my graduation project with another two friends, we're developing a 3D engine for RPG games (such as Final Fantasy), and since we are finishing it, we'll want to make a game to demonstrate how we made easier the programming work.
However, as good engineers. we suck on the arts, modeling and texture stuff. So we really need some help with that.
We will need some monsters model (with its animations) and some scenarios.
if you are intersted in help a game project please email me at mauro.kesselman@poli.usp.br.

Thanks a lot
Mauro

Thanks for the advice Beatrix_Kiddo. Concerning the slash animation. I didn't make him go down too far cause of the armour which would make lessen the extremities of his body movement, but i'll keep that in mind though.

Thanks for all the advice guys and gals :)

Sweet.

That's some nice work with those animations and everything else. I have a question, are you using Sim cloth or reactor for the cloth simulation you're using? Or something else? Thanks.

Matt.

Hi MattChin, thanks for the comps. I'm using Reactor Cloth in Max 6.
