I use imageshack mainly because I can manage my images. Only 1Mb pre image but it's enough for most forum post.

I think a personal gallery would be good, but then they have to dedicate space to each user on the sever and it MIGHT get used by 1/3 of the users. It doesn't justify the need for the allocated space. Attachment are about the best they've got right now, if there was more interest in it then maybe they would do it.

what about a galery where not every user just "gets" space, but where you'll have to request is, by for example filling in a little form. so the 3dtotal computer giver you a certain amount of space locked with a pasword :)

a hosted personal galery would be a good idea :)
