The biggest (and maybe most important) update for RenderPal 2004 Server, the professional render management system for Maya, Mental Ray, 3ds max, XSI, Lightwave and more, has just been released, bringing it to Version 1.30. The update offers plenty of new features and additions:

First and foremost, the RenderPal 2004 Job Submitter can now be used to monitor and control net jobs and render clients, just like in the server.
Another important feature, especially for larger networks, is the ability to let the RenderPal 2004 Server automatically add clients, using UDP heartbeats sent by the RenderPal 2004 Client; it is no longer needed to add clients manually.
We also added the possibility to import various render settings from a Maya scene file (command-line support included).
And we added a new renderer (of course): Lightwave 8; all major renderers are now supported by RenderPal 2004.

The update includes tons of other additions, changes and smaller bugfixes; just visit our website at http://www.renderpal.com to find out more about this update and to download the trial version.
